Faith got her cast off and then they did an ultrasound and her hip
looked "solid" but they still put a new cast on but it will only be
for 4 weeks and it goes only to the knee. I can see 1/2 her leg and
they are so cute and chubby. When she went in the first cast 7 weeks
ago they were very skinny.

The only negative thing to report is that they never gave us
instructions on how to use a waterproof cast. I gave her very few
baths and found out I was supposed to bathe her everyday. It actually
helps the skin which is the opposite of what you would think. She has
quite a few areas of her skin that are raw because we were never told
this. I was very mad and upset at the oversight.

You can bet the next 4 weeks will be different.

Next is the brace for who knows how long. But very happy for
a "solid" hip.
