Hi Holly

Welcome to the forum. Sorry, it's taken so long for me to respond!

I'm sorry to hear that your baby has CDH and that pavlik harness
didn't work. What sort of surgery did your daughter have?

It is extremely common for children in hip spica's to suffer
wind/gas and constipation. This is due to them not moving around as
much. I cannot offer you any advise as my daughter, Emily, was 7
months when she went into her first spica and moved around almost
immediately. I just wanted you to know that wind problems are
common in young spica wearers.
