Re: [Clicky Hips Club] Failed reduction...

Hi, thanks for asking after her. Well, we have success this time. Her CT scan
last week showed it in the socket, not as far as they'd like, but OK.

Went back today for X-Ray, it's still in & our consultant is happy with her
progress. We see him again in 2 wks then 3 wks after that for a plaster change.
We're just praying that it stays in permanently.

Hi Jo & Emilia

Just wondering how your second reduction went, was it a success, we've had our
fingers crossed for you.

Hi all, Emilia was in hosptial last week for her closed reduction & medial
approach abductor tenotomy. They gave her a CT scan the next day and the bad
news is that it failed & the hip is back out. Our consultant was at another
hospital so we couldn't get answers as to why it happened or if it's gone back
to where it was.

They want her back in tomorrow (11th) to perform the reduction again.

We're trying to stay strong, but it's so hard to put your baby through GA.

Has anyone else got a story about failed reductions?

Jo & Emilia 18wks today
