Hi Jo

I'm sorry to hear that baby Emilia's closed reduction failed. I'll keep my
fingers crossed for you today and I hope this time it will be a success.

My Emily had a failed closed reduction but for different reasons than
Emilia. Emily was 5 months old and they could not malipulate her femurs in
the right position, therefore, she had an open reduction at 7 months.

Emilia is still very young, so there is every chance that this closed
reduction will be a success.

Let us know how you get and I am thinking about you.

Take care
Sara (Emily's Mum)

> Hi all, Emilia was in hosptial last week for her closed reduction & medial
approach abductor tenotomy. They gave her a CT scan the next day and the bad
news is that it failed & the hip is back out. Our consultant was at another
hospital so we couldn't get answers as to why it happened or if it's gone
back to where it was.
