Hi everyone

Charlotte went for her latest follow up yesterday. It is looking ok
at the moment......the acetabulum (socket) is slowly coming down but
he is a little concerned that the femoral head (ball) has not shown
any change since her last appointment 3 months ago....anyways he
says she can have 2 hours brace free a day and we can take her
swimming!!! he does not want her weight bearing on it yet as doesnt
think it would support her....so we are a bit up and down ..but it
has only been 6 months and the consultant has told us his target is
for her to have a fully functioning joint by the time she is 2..so
that gives us another 10 months!!!!
