Hi Claire

I'm sorry to hear about your little one. I'm very surprised that the Dr
wants to wait at this stage as it's very important to treat this condition
sooner rather than later. I noticed that he is an adult orthopedic.... You
must go and see a pedeatric (sorry about my spelling!) orthopedic surgeon.
Childrens bones/hips are so different to adults at this stage. Is there
anyway you can get a second opinion? The sooner this condition is dealt
with the less invasive the treatment will be.

I'm sorry if this all sounds gloom and doom and I'm not trying to scare you,
but it is worth seeing someone else even if its for your peace of mind.

Good luck and keep us updated.

Take care
Sara (Emily's Mum)
