Hi Leanne
It's good to hear from you, thanks for your help, it's really
appreciated.
My little nephew has hardly taken any weight on his feet at all and
he's now 8 1/2months old.
I had a look at his fat creases and when I showed my sister she
agreed that both legs looked different, it's hard to tell Leanne as
he has such chubby little legs anyway. I advised her to phone the
doctor on Monday as there is CDH/DDH in the family, but she says
she'll give him another 6weeks to see if he starts to take the weight
on his feet( he'll be 10 months by then)
Obviously we're hoping he's maybe just a "lazy" baby (my brother was
and didn't walk until he was 20 months!!)
I can only advise her as she's his mum at the end of the day, but I
know she's worried, more so because of Jenna. I don't want her to get
paranoid though because of Jenna, I've told her that this condition
is quite rare but you're better to be safe than sorry and to remain
aware of the fact that there's now a family history of CDH/DDH.
Hope little Sophie is keeping well and getting into everything!!
Jenna is doing really well, thanks Leanne, really enjoying this new-
found freedom and making the most of it!!!!
Give Sophie our love and keep us posted on how she's doing, look
after yourself also Leanne.
Love Susan
