I am really pleased that the pavlick harness is working for you, it is so nice
to hear good news. It's not a particularly nice contraption but it beats
surgery.
Like you, I hate the term "clicky hips" and will always politely correct people
but end up sounding like an arse. The comment that gets me really mad is "just
wait till she is walking, you won't know what's hit you". The whole reason my
daughter has had surgery is so that she can walk. Grrrrrr
Take care
Sara

Subject: Re: [Clicky Hips Club] Clicky Hip
Hi sorry for not replying sooner....
Well after all the worrying we took Eve in for a scan and it turned out she
had not one but two clicky hips (is it only me who gets annoyed by the term
clicky hips? It sounds so unserious... like stubbed toe or banged funny
bone.... but I digress...)
Anyway, it was l bad news and she had a pavlik harness fitted, which she
hates and whinges about all the time - quite understandably in my view!
But, the good news, after two weeks the hospital scans are very good and it
looks like they may reduce the harness time from six months to three months.
With luck.
Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know.
Also, if I'd have known how impossibly attractive you become to women just by
dint of carrying a cute baby I'd have had Eve years ago!
Ahem, that's a joke btw - in case the missus is on here.
:-)
