Hi Leanne
Emily had an open reduction last year after a failed closed reduction and when
she came out of her cast in December I noticed that her hips "clicked", I took
her straight back to the hospital and her consultant said that this was quite
normal and he was sorry that he forget to warn me about it! Her hips are still
shallow, and like you, we have been told to wait and see now. I hope this
helps, but as you know all children are different. I hope your appointment goes
well in a couple of weeks and that you get good news - keep us informed.
Take care
Sara

Hi Everyone,
As some of you know Sophie had an open reduction last May after an
unsuccessful closed reduction the previous year. When we went back
to the hospital last November we were told that the hip was still in
the socket but the hip was shallow and we had to wait to see if the
hip was going to improve.
Anyway, the last few weeks I have noticed Sophies hip
keeps 'clicking' and am concerned that this is a bad sign, maybe the
hip has dislocated again?? We are due to go back to the hospital in
2 weeks so we will get some answers. Has anyone else noticed hips
clicky and if so what was the outcome?
Its been so quite around here lately, hope everyone is well
All the best
Leanne
