This will be our fourth audio/video conference chat using iVisit. Up
to eight people will be able to see and talk to each other, so join
the group early. Last week, Jim Wolf, George Neeson and I tested the
chat room capability and it seemed fine for a 3-way discussion. (We
discovered that the audio improves considerably if the video image
is placed on "pause.")

The free iVisit software can be downloaded at www.ivisit.com. (The
latest version is 3.6.1) If you don't have a webcam, you can still
join us for audio or text chat. After you register and get a user
ID, open the program and go to the address book. At the "+" box,
enter "hts.6044" (my user ID) and press return. Then
enter "home.hts.6044" (my chat room) in the "+" box and press
return.

When you log on Saturday, at 8:00am, you can reach me individuallly
by going to the address book, selecting "people" and clicking
on "hts.6044." If you want to join the chat room select "places,"
click on the chat room "home.hts.6044" then press "join the room."
