For the past few months I have been having REALLY BAD mid-cyle pain. I’ve
always had some, but this is getting unbelievable. It’s lasting 3 days or
so, coinciding with the beginning of the temp rise. The pain starts as some
vague pain in the entire pelvic area, and then migrates down the right leg
and around to the back on the right side, actually going UP my back on that
side. It gets to the point where it hurts to walk.
I’m curious as to what’s up with this. I am 42 years old. Not sure if my
age has anything to do with this problem. I did have a pelvic ultrasound
last August to check for fibroids, and nothing out of the ordinary showed up
on the ovaries or uterus at that time.
I will be having my “yearly exam” soon and intend to bring this up with my
GYN. But any light that you experts can shed on this would be appreciated.
