I will never understand why people think that messing with their bodies in such
a manner is a good thing. This procedure sounds horrifying to me! Inserting
metal coils into my uterus? No thank you! My womb is not an industrial plant!

There is no data on the safety or effectiveness of surgery to reverse the
Essure procedure. However, any attempt at surgical reversal will likely
require
uterotubal reimplantation. The procedure has been associated with
significant morbidity and mortality due to uterine rupture.
