I'm an STM teacher, but I thought I learned somewhere along the way that
creighton records length of stretch of mucus. 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch etc.
So her charts wouldn't convert unless she had that info, which I doubt
she does.

Hey out there, anyone who's ever taken a CrM class or even better is an
instructor:

I have a close friend who's having difficulties with her doc. She has 6
months of temp/mucus fertility charts (she is trying to conceive) that
she kept after being self-taught with TCOYF. She says she's not seeing
a temp shift, that her bbt's are low, and for this and other reasons
(weight loss, hair loss) she suspects low thyroid.

The doc claims to be familiar with CrM *only* and for this reason *won't
look at her homemade charts.* She was writing me to ask if I had access
to CrM blank charts and a glossary of terms, thinking that if she
transferred the data into a CrM "form" that the doc would look at it.
So part of my question is: Is it possible to get a blank CrM chart?

What I told her, though, was that I was very suspicious that the doctor
is probably not actually all that knowledgeable, even in CrM, because it
seems to me that a doc who understands any one of the NFP methods ought
to be able to look at any kind of chart, at least if it's neatly done
and the woman is willing to explain her terms.

I also told her that CrM doesn't include temps anyway, so having a CrM
chart would not help her in her quest to get her doc to look at her low
BBTs and agree that she needs to have her thyroid checked.

Do you think I answered that correctly?
