JMHO.....
Since you don't know until the cycle is over whether THAT particular cycle
will be one with a short luteal phase, it seems to me that you are worrying
about all this unnecessarily. If you did happen to become pregnant but a
short luteal phase caused early miscarriage, why would you be at fault, any
more than you would be at fault if some irregularity in the shape of the
uterus caused implantation difficulties and a miscarriage. I don't think
you can take moral responsibility over your body's processes and structure.
You did not create the new life with the intent that it would not implant
and you would miscarry--you created it with the hope that your cycle would
be a normal one and you would have a healthy pregnancy.
