Hi Don, *this is being copied to the cinnfp@yahoogroups.com list*,
I haven't been subbed to CIN for a while (changed isps some time ago and never
got around to resubbing), so I wonder if you would pass the following
information to the list, if there's still time to post.
- First of all, YES, the CINNFP yahoogroups offtopic list will become the new
CINNFP on-topic list. Please, if you will, post detailed instructions telling
people how to join. Normally the group is moderated and I have to approve new
members (I had a rule that members had to come from CINNFP), but I am just now
changing that. **Subscription will now be automatic.** To subscribe to the
yahoo list, people should go to http://groups.yahoo.com and sign up for a yahoo
account if they have not got one already, then they can go to
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/cinnfp/ and click "join this group!" to
join. Anyone with problems, have them email me directly at
erinarlinghaus@... .
- The yahoo list used to be, more or less, an offtopic group. For the time
being I will allow both ontopic and offtopic posts, until we figure out where
the group is headed; then I may start a separate offtopic list. Please ask
people who are switching over to be patient with offtopic posts for a few weeks,
remembering that there are about 20 people who have been happily conversing on
off-topics on this list for a couple of years now. I'm not sure which
arrangement will work best yet.
OK, now, Don, do you want me to put you as a moderator on the yahoo group? I
will still be moderator and listowner, but I can name as many moderators as I
want.
Erin
