"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither
angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future,
nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the
love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Romans 8:38-39 NIV)

There is a saying out there that if you are handed lemons,
then make lemonade.

We with disabilities have been handed lemons and it all
depends on what we do with them.

The children of Israel, when they left Egypt wandered for
forty years on a journey that would normally take them
a week.

Why? They were handed lemons and did not know what
to do with them.

You see I believe God gave us our disabilities, as a way of
saying that he trusts us. He knows that we will still praise
him, even in the hard times and by doing so we will teach
others that he is with us even in times that we do not feel
like praising him.

So take what you have and move forward, forward to the
great things God has for you.

Joni Erickson Tada, is a prime example of someone who has
continued with her disabilities and kept on going forward for
God. Sure she struggled, but she learned to use the tools
God gave her and to move forward for him.

Father give us the strength today, to face all of the trials we
have and the courage to take them and use them for you.
Show us how to use our disabilities, to move forward to
greater works for you.
