"It is time to seek the LORD." (Hosea 10:12 NIV)
"Jesus told his disciples…that they should always
pray and not give up." (Luke 18:1 NIV)"God will
meet all your needs." (Philippians 4: 19 NIV)

It rained and rained for 48 hours. 24 hours into
the storms the roof of our house started to continually
leak. By the time the rain was over half the roof had
leaks. There were buckets, plastic, and every kind of
container all over the house trying to hold the water
that came through the roof, and to keep things as dry
as possible. I prayed for the Lord to provide for no
rain, no more leaks and a way to fix the roof.

Plans were made to fix the roof the next week. As the
project started there was a window of three days to get
it done before rain was predicted to come. The evening
the rain was to come the project had become bigger than
originally planned and was no where near completion.
Plastic was put over the roof. And, I prayed. The next
morning we found it sunny and it had not rained the night
before. Now we had a window of a day and a half. Again
the roof was not done and it was suppose to rain. And,
I prayed. The next morning there were sunny skies and
not a drop of rain had fallen. This would repeat two more
times and I kept praying each time.

Weeks later I was reminded how the Lord had provided what
we needed with the roof as we needed it. This was
reassuring; for my health had gone into a flare and the
pain had become the worse I had known. Through this reminder
I knew that as I prayed to the LORD He already knew I was
in this pain and He would provide what I needed.
