Hi Carolyn,
Thanks so much for your reply!
I also see a neurologist for migraine headache, and have been helped
from some medication.
The doctor my daughter saw(she's an adult), was an eye, ear and
throat specialist, as her problem started with a nasal
polyp. However, the doctor said that in itself would not cause her
daily headaches. She had sinus ex-ray and it did show a polyp. He
suggested an MRI to see if anything else was going on, even though
he suspects migraine, as did her internist.
I guess he said neorologists tend to give medication(which can be
habit-forming) and that a pain clinic doesn't.
I asssume it probably involves bio-feedback and relaxation
tecniques, but I wasn't sure.
Thanks and happy holiday's!
