Dr.Merle is very nice and out going.I guess the clinic will send you info
about what to bring with you as far as previous Dr. records, test results,
etc. and directions to the clinic. Depending on your condition they may
admit you to the hospital, Columbus Hospital I believe, where they have an
inpatient headache unit. When I went they were using Weiss Hospital. I was
in the hospital for 6 or 7 days. The gave me a drug called DHE 45 that is
supposed to break a non stop headache. Actually it didn't work for me but it
helps alot of people. I don't know really, how often they admit people to
the hospital. Maybe you won't have to do that. They told me since I was
coming from out of town (which most people do) to bring clothes for a week
in the hospital just in case the Dr. wanted to admit me.I'm from the St.
Louis area. My husband left me in Chicago and I flew home after I got out of
the hospital.Good Luck to you! Hope you have some success.
