Is anyone having worse headaches this spring?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #123 of 353 |
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone's headaches were more intense this
spring? I have had some really bad ones plus I have been really tired
and lethargic lately. I know it's partially because I have been
remodeling my room, but I can only work on it for about 3-4 hours at
a time and then my headache gets unbearable and I have to go lay
down. If that doesn't work, I end up taking an extra Valium at
bedtime. Which makes me tiered the next day and I get less work done.

I don't know what y'all are taking for your pain, but I am taking a
duragesic patch and 30 mg of Valium a day for pain, 40 mg if it's
really bad. I also do breathing exercises and biofeedback. However
none of this ever results in a pain level less than a 6 or 5. But it
is better than 7-10's which is what I was having before switching to
my present Dr. However as I said before, it seems like spring has
made is worse and I don't know if it's allergies, which it could be,
but I have never found an allergy medicine that works for me.

So if anyone has these symptoms and has any idea of what might be
causing them or any methods you use to deal with your headache that I
haven't mentioned I would appreciate any help. You can either post
your answer of if you would like to talk more in depth about it, you
might remember that I am also bipolar and ADD, so if you are taking
medications for mental illness you might want to email me at

I would really appreciate it and I hop all of you that read this and
are keeping up with the group are doing as well as possible.

Take care,

Bobby :)

My headaches often get worse in spring because tree pollen. That and fast temperature changes seem to be big factors for me. Pushing myself to get something...
