daily pain meds

Sharon:

I've been taking pain meds on a daily basis for about 20 years with
no problems. At least, no problems so far.

Tylenol and some others will cause permanent liver damage. This is
an ingredient in Vicodin and limits the number that can be taken
safely each day to six or eight. I take Vicodin and Ultram each day
and have taken numerous other pain medications but the combination of
these two seems to work best for me. There are Vicodin-like
medications with less APAP and more hydrocodone that are safer for
the liver; Stagesic, Lortab, etc. You might ask your doc about
those. Good luck,

Mike
