I haven't tried Botox for CDH but there is some evidence that some
people can get some relief. You'd have to find a pain doctor that has
experience with Botox injections to get someone that knows what they are
doing.

Like the other treatments you've tried it may or may not work. Heaches
in general are hard to treat because there are a number of causes and
there is no diagnostic tests. Headache is only now getting some decent
research because CDH doesn't kill or outwardly maim If you did find a
pain doctor that works with Botox chances are that you'd end with some
other treatments as well. Then again, you may be one of the few that get
great results.

Just wondering if anyone here has tried the botox injections for
chronic daily headaches? Also how would one find a doctor who is
willing to try this.

I have had headaches for the past 25 years, since I was 10 years
old. I have had CDH for at least the past 10 years. So far I have
been on Vioxx, Elavil, Zonnegran, Neurontin, and Fioricet all with
mixed results. I am not as disabled as some on this board though,
and I thank my lucky stars for that.

I take daily pain meds for my headaches, and I worry about the effect
this will have on my health in the long run. I have heard a lot
about the Botox injections, and wonder if they will help me get off
the pain meds.
