Thanks everyone, I sawed mine in half, and so far so good

Its been awhile since I did a regime of foam roller work on my it
band......Ouch! and double and triple ouch! apart from the sheer agony of it
though, it definately makes a positive difference to my knee health

Thanks James

Hi James,

One thing i found was to get one of the firm foam rollars, the
regular type seem to break down really fast. The
the pro-rollars at optp last a long time. Before i found this type,
i swear the things would wear out and get soft within a month or two
of constant use. However this one has lasted a few years and still
firm.

My gym has some ones that are comprible from sprii fitness, but i
don't see them on their website. They are solid blue and tough like
the one from optp.com

The regular foam rollers, the ends do seem to break down a little
more easily than in the middle. It won't ruin the foam roller, but
if you feel the end, just because there is support around it like in
the middle, will break down easier.

Connie

I agree sawing in half should be fine. Keep up the rolling, it can make such an incredible difference. And you know if it still hurts, it needs to be done :)...
