Yes, I have tried Cho Pat. Fairly useless. Bulky too.
I have found the very best to be GenuTrain P3 Knee Support.
I bought them in Europe and they're very good. You can order them online in
the U.S. and they're much cheaper than in Europe. I have terrible chondro
and I can downhill ski in these.

Subject: [Chondromalacia Community] Cho Pat Dual Action Knee Strap
Has anyone out there tried these braces for chondromalacia and if so
did it help your condition? I have had chondromalacia on and off for
years. I am very active and when the condition comes back , I do a lot
of strengthening and stretch PT and seem to calm if down to the point
where I can go quite some time (year or more) without a problem
but...it comes back again and I need to rerpeat the process. I saw a
guy in my health club wearing these straps and he tells me it works for
him. Just wondering if anyone else has some insight before I buy a pair.
I am active, fifty, and like to run, cycle, elliptical and pool
run/swim.
Thank you
