PARENTS AGAINST THE SYSTEM

This press release is to announce the organization of a new movement
in this country to fight for true CPS and family court reform.

The media across this country is full these days with stories of
abuse of our children. We are told of overworked, underpaid CPS
workers who just can't properly do their job because the job is just
too big.

Parents Against The System (PATS) was formed by a group of parents,
grandparents, and friends across the country dedicated to putting an
end to the CPS problem.

What the average citizen doesn't know and isn't told by the
uninformed media is a large part of the problem is CPS abusing the
power they were given against good loving parents who have never
abused or neglected their children. The system is being flooded with
bogus cases of neglect and abuse brought about by a vindictive ex-
spouse, teachers, neighbors with a beef, relatives who are mad at one
another, and social workers and others who are referred to "help" low
income families who have applied for financial assistance in a time
of need.

The mission of the PATS organization is to work to bring about true
Child Protection Reform. To stop the abuse and terrorism that is
being foisted on innocent parents and children by over zealous
bureaucrats who are far too young in many cases to have the life
experience or the common sense to know what to do with a complaint of
abuse or neglect. Or are jaded from too many years in the trenches
to be able to look objectively at most situations. To bring some
common sense where there is none and to put an end to arbitrary theft
of children from their loving parents on the word of a nosy neighbor,
miss informed teacher, or vindictive ex-spouse or the out right lies
of a CPS worker who doesn't have a clue feels he/she will be right at
all cost. This is our mission and we will not rest until we have
made the powers that be in Washington DC and the state capitals
listen and make the necessary reforms.

BRING OUR CHILDREN BACK

The idea for a March on Washington DC was the brainchild of Renee our
organization President. The idea for the name for the march came
from one of our loyal supporters Mary McCarty from Oklahoma. Her
health is such that she can't get as physically involved as she would
like but she is a wealth of information and a real inspiration. This
march will is being planned for the end of the summer congressional
recess when our legislators are fresh from vacations and ready to go
back to work.

There will be regular press releases from PATS to keep the media
informed on the progress of the fight and the march plans. A website
is in the making as this press release is being written and will be
up and running in a very few days.
