Make a Difference on Election Day

Dear HSLDA Members,

Election season is in full swing, and we know as homeschoolers how
important it is to have men and women in elected office who will uphold a
parent's right to homeschool.

But in order to have our voices heard, we must make the effort to
actively support candidates who will advocate for our values in Washington, D.C.
This fall, you and your children will be able to directly help by working for
candidates who will protect our God-given homeschooling liberty.

To this end, HSLDA PAC has investigated various candidates, and so
far, we have endorsed 10 pro-homeschooling, pro-family congressional candidates.

They are Bob Schaffer (CO), Marilyn Musgrave (CO-4), Tim Walberg
(MI-7), Andy Harris (MD-1), Luke Puckett (IN-2), Chris Hackett (PA-10), and
Frank Wolf (VA-10), Mark Souder (IN-3), Monty Lankford (TN-4), and Jack
Hoogendyk (MI Senate).

These are men and women who have a proven track record of protecting
homeschool freedom, and they have also pledged to support the Parental Rights
Amendment.

All of these are tight races where homeschool students and parents,
led by experienced campaigners from Generation Joshua and Patrick Henry College,
can make an actual difference and help elect these men and women to Congress.

Student Action Teams will be active for the 4-5 days leading up to
Election Day, which is Tuesday, November 4. All campaigning expenses will be
covered.

To help, you will need to do two things: First, for liability
reasons, all parent chaperones need to be members of either HSLDA (Join HSLDA
online >>)or Generation Joshua, and all students need to be members of
Generation Joshua (Join Generation Joshua online >>). Second, once your
membership has been processed, you can sign up for a Student Action Team >>.

This is our chance to make a lasting difference in our nation. We
look forward to working alongside you on the campaign trail! If you have any
