Margaret Hagen's 1997 book, Whores of the Court, is
available for free pdf download at her website at

She goes a little off about "feminism" and what it is,
and the book also is somewhat biased in that she does
not address the parental alienation whores (e.g.
Gardner, Darnall, et al.) and the experimental memory
researchers who have become court whores themselves
(e.g. Loftus), and does not adequately explain that
even the scientists can only shed doubt on cases
(which means they should be banned too because they
confuse the evidence in court), but it's otherwise
valid and needs to be heard. Also note: in the
decade since Hagen wrote this, the child custody
forensic community has made brouhaha about being more
scientific, about being "scientists" and not
"clinicians", and also becoming expert on the "art"of
child custody evaluations -- but there is nothing
valid about what they do at all, which comes under
Hagen's category of "clinical psychologist".
