This is a good group to belong to. Another suggestion would be child
protection reform



There isn’t much you can do once kids reach a certain age. They will place
them wherever they want to go. Have you had any case plan meetings? What
are they doing are they doing reunification or TPR?

I stumbled upon your group and it looked like just the sort of thing I
needed, but then I saw that all the docs listed referred to michigan
law. Do you know if there exists an equivalent group for central
california? Last week my kids were taken from me here in fresno
because my husband kept telling my 14 year old son to call CPS or the
police every time I disciplined him. Let me point out that when I say
disciplined, I mean sent to his room, and that there were at least 2
instances in the past 4 months where police came out because my son
was hitting an adult in the household, not the reverse. I did spank my
4 year old, and sent him to his room, and someone reported that I had
beaten him & he spent days on end in his room with little food or
water. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
