To you all,

I am a former foster parent, believe me, I've seen it all, and I got in trouble
too many times, all the way up to my eyeballs trying to do the right thing by
these children, their families, and their extended families. The system does
not want them in their homes in general. It is all about money and power
(contol/struggle). It gives the industry jobs, the social workers, the
psychiatrists, the attorneys, and sadly the judges, etc.. The statement is
right about them being "adoptable"...even from the foster parents, the new
inside story. We, at the end were fostering two preemie babies, who were
becoming healthier each day, when the parents' rights were terminated they
turned on us like a dog on a bone...It was cruel, the adoption worker told the
judge, "we need a decision right away, these are white marketable babies", I was
shocked, so I asked what was the price, they shooed her out of the room never to
be seen again that day or anyother in our trial to get the babies returned to
us...We even went to three foster care review board meetings finding in our
favor, return the babies, it was never done... I am still sick over this and the
scheming system five years later...Ironically, we were already approved and
already had adopted four other boys, they did not check our history, (they had
egg on their face that day, but no lawyers will take the case, they say it is
career suicide and they have immunity anyway), etc...The social workers and the
judge (hers from their reports) both stated I was dysfunctional, incompetent,
could not be understood, and we lived in chaos.... crazy right! we ended up
with 26 allegations before it was all said and done, amazing right, not...Sadly
this is what they are doing to so many others across our nation... Or should I
say have done....

Because now, since the economy is down, the system is shrinking,,,they have not
removed that many new kids, I have watched two agencies close and rumors the big
Cahoona, is going to go down if the governor tries to balance the budget and let
only private agencies foster and adopt...this is even a bigger mistake, the
private agencies are corrupt and don't give an account for the illegal actions,
it is all a contant hearsay and movement of their workers' much like the Priest
incident in 2002.....I am looking for enough people to do a Class action suit
for this travesty of justice...I know I am not the only one out there that they
have attacked mercilessly....

I confronted a worker and she stated, "I can't be touched", she was right, I
hope I can finally prove her wrong, because she did not care about the children,
my family, or any other person involved, we were just pawns, and end to the
means...

That sounds good, but "fitness" can have many levels and interpretations. My
home was fit...even the relative assessment worker declared it as "safeand
clean" and yet, even though I had raised my grandson from birth and
wasconsidered a "de facto parent", my grandson was left in foster care and
thenhe "developed emotional disorders" and could not come home. He was
NEVERABUSED NOR NEGLECTED. He was taken from me because he was "highly
adoptableand I had no "court papers" (only notarized papers) giving me
guardianshipof my grandson, signed by my daughter. When my daughter (who did not
livewith me and my grandson) was arrested because of drugs, CPS came to my
hometo take my grandson. I would not leave the interpretation of fitness up
