Response to the Community Conversations has been overwhelming. More than 80
conversations involving more than 1,000 participants have already been
organized and filled by nonpartisan/bipartisan volunteer community leaders
and engaged citizens across Michigan.
If you are unable to attend one of these sessions we welcome your
participation in our Online Community Conversation
http://www.thecenterformichigan.net/community-conversations/ . In the online
version, you can "vote" on options for the state's future using the same
questions that we pose to the participants in the in-person conversations.
More than 175 participants have already chosen this online option. Further,
if you are interested in having a conversation with friends, neighbors, work
associates or other community contacts, we are happy to share the
step-by-step guidelines. Participants in these conversations are also
welcome to submit their responses on the Online Community Conversation.
Further, the Michigan's Defining Moment Public Engagement Campaign also
plans larger regional town hall meetings next year. We'll keep your email
address on file for notification about those events in your region.
Thank you for your interest in the future of our state.
Sincerely,
John Bebow
