House Concurrent Resolution No. 54.* A concurrent resolution to memorialize
the United States Congress to enact the Education Begins at Home Act. Has
been voted on in our state house and discusses the need for there to be help
and education given in homes with young children. Please use this link below
to contact both the state house and senate Appropriation's committee members
about the need for the family to be the number one source for the rearing of
our children. Let these politicians know that the DHS, Corrections and
Family Court budgets can be reduced by implementing Equal Parenting
Legislation HB 4564 and Family First Legislation HB 4735. Single parent
homes have been shown to be the most dangerous and least conducive to
effective child rearing. Equal Parenting and Family First will again allow
both fit parents and their family to raise their children and will reduce
the ability of government to interfere thus reducing overall tax
expenditures and improving our states future. The laws of our state profess
the need for both parents in the lives of their children but the standard
custody award is sole mother custody with 4-6 days a month of visitation by
the father with the Friend of the Court and the Family Court judge rarely
recommending joint physical custody. When CPS gets involved with a family
they rather place a child with strangers then place a child with family due
to the need for case generation thus federal funding. Direct these
politicians to this site to understand the problem we have with the current
law: http://www.nationwideblueprint.com/node/6
