This blog will follow the arrest, trial, criminal conviction, child
protective proceedings, and predictable termination of parental
rights of the parents of Rose Kelly the 5 yr who died of medical
neglect in Flint MI USA on or about 6/6/06.

What happened? What could have been done to stop it? What is the
law involved? What public responsibilites were present? Where were
the successes and failures of previous services?

To create a record the local media, The Flint Journal, TV 12 WJRT & 5 WNEM will
be posted. Additionally the local e-forums Flint Talk and Flint live will be
posted for local flavor.

I will post information from the criminal and child protective
proceedings , I can read the public portion of the case files,and
any prior cases of the parents.

I will also post the court house skuttle butt.

When appropriate I will also post and apply the law as I see it.

I am approaching this as an educational tool to policy makers ,
authorities, media , reformers, and parents. Academics welcomed, we
could buy the DVDS.
