Dear Members,
This information posted by

or

is not correct. This forum is not a Public Hearing nor it is a place for
your personal DCF horror stories. This will take some thoughtful
contemplation and I suggest that you also write down your statements for
submission to
FAVOR, Inc., to submit to Connecticut Department of Children and Families.
I have spoken with Molly Cole's staff at FAVOR, Inc., this morning and got
this information straight from the horse's mouth as to the purpose of this
forum. FAVOR, Inc., is part of the Connecticut Citizen’s Review Board for
DCF
and the weekend of March 17, 18 and 19 was a wonderful fate for both our
organizations. They signed up and attended our Conference. CCC, Inc., provided
the training via FRA Institute for this group to become “Certified Family
Advocates” in the state of Connecticut. The Agreement we reached to work
together in this effort is a plus for both of our organizations. They have
agreed
to be under the directorship of CCC, Inc., for any future Family Advocate
training and we will bring FRA Institute back for this task.
This is not the time to be disrespectful or to give rude comments such as “
The eve of Grandma’s funeral I came home to find the very unpleasantly FAT
DCF
worker Valerie Jackson sitting on my couch....I told her just because I am
Wiccan does NOT mean I am going to whip out my wand and levitate her FAT ASS
off my couch!!” as
_Ctdcfwatch@..._ (mailto:
Ctdcfwatch@...) has
published via the internet in their “My Connecticut Horror
Story"[

ory.htm_
(
http://www.familyrightsassociation.com/horror_stories/connecticut_dcf_horror_st\
ory.htm) ] People come in all shapes and sizes and it
does little good to use these spiteful remarks towards those in charge of child
protection in our state. Inaccuracies in your record should be shown and
documented but I advise no member to make personally disparaging remarks. The
point of this forum is to state what services helped you, what services
didn't help you and what services were missing that would have helped you. I
think you can show inaccuracies in your record in a non-personally disparaging
manner.
If members are ill-advised to take this as a moaning and complaining
session, the sessions will be shut down. Please, again, members, I advise you
to
act professionally with appropriate decorum in order that we may bring about
change.

HERE IS YOUR BIG CHANCE PARENTS AND ATTORNEYS
Here is an opportunity to speak on the abuses of DCF and their failure to
obey the law and allow their social workers to wilfully lie in documents and in
court and the removal of children without conducting a proper investagation
or warrant. Please forward to every one in Connecticut that has been
threatened or abused by DCF.

· The Department is required to respond to each of the recommendations
made by the Panels.
