Someone please help us! cps has been in and out of my life since my
oldest child was born. When I married my ex husband his family hated
me (because of the way we met and how we got married) and offered me
money and a car to leave.

When I turned them down they threatened to call cps on me. My
husband played innocent till the night he came home from work and
cps was there to take the kids. They found all allegations in the
report untrue but made new ones on their own such as me playing peek
a boo with a pillow to my 2 year old (saying I was trying to smother
her) and letting her and her 5 year old step sister play in the
bathtub for too long.

It ended up after 2 years in them asking me to sign my rights to my
son over (which they said was cause I was too unstable mentally and
too poor) and then placing my daughter with her biological father
who had nothing to do with her for the first two years and even
denied her for the first six months of the case till his wife had a
miscarriage and was told she could not bare children.

I got court ordered supervised visits once a month for three hours
at a church where I have to pay to see her and there is an armed
police officer. Then shortly after I got with my current husband his
ex (the biological mother of his son) called cps on him. They found
the allegations unfounded but yet kept the case going. In this time
I found out I was pregnant. right after I had our daughter cps told
me I had to leave the house. I had supervised visits only with my
newborn daughter and his son (who I consider my own). After 5
caseworkers and a year they finally closed the case and decided to
let my husband the father take over visits and said I could go back
home. Scared to death they would come back I decided to live
separate still but seeing them everyday. after the kids went to bed
I left home so no problems would happen.

My husband decided to come to this area to get help from family to
get in the military.

We wanted a better life for our children. (seeing we are both
disabled and only receive disability checks). I moved too but living
was so expensive we decided to live together again. not even three
months later cps was knocking at our door with a police officer. we
were told that the teacher at his school (who we have been
complaining about) said that we were beating our kids and called.
They came out to supposedly to investigate but instead came in and
separated us all and talked to us one by one my son first (who is
only four and has speech, hearing, and sight problems) then my
husband and then myself. Made me strip my daughter checked her then
had me redress her. They then separated us again leaving me inside
with the kids and taking my husband outside. I thought they were
gonna arrest him but then the officer came in and asked me some
weird questions then he went back outside with my husband and the
caseworker came in and told me to leave.

We were astonished. the next day they knocked on the door told my
husband to call me to come over but not to let me know they were
there and when I got here they were gonna arrest him and take the
kids. well they did take the kids as soon as my son got off the
school bus but thankfully he was not arrested. they took both our
babies and left with just a paper saying why they took them and
telling us we would be served. now we have our first court hearing
on 11-28-05 and and no lawyer or money to get one. The least
expensive is $3000 retainer. We have no clue what to do less than a
week till court, no lawyer, no money. and best yet they are going
for removal without any investigation or anything.

We know nothing of where our babies are or how they are doing. and
all this over my son falling well playing. We even have references
for our side saying that we are good parents but they wouldn't even
talk to them . We miss them so much and would appreciate any help.
