Fort Lauderdale Advocacy Training Receives Kudos
From Attendees
Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Family Rights Advocacy Institute Founder, Suzanne Shell was received with overwhelming support by over twenty attendees who included parents, mental health professionals and legal advocates. One attorney in particular, who was a participant, found the information so informative, he was encouraged to go back to his office during a break and rewrite a pleading using the techniques presented by Suzanne Shell.
Ms. Shell expressed her gratitude at being so well treated and received by the participants. This training was the cutting edge information that many of the attorneys and other professsionals expressed was sorely missing from their defense strategies in helping families they represent.
It has been a landmark training for the Institute by not only garnering broader recognition among the legal profession and the public but in making a pathway to connect this knowledge to those that can apply the tactics in the courtroom. This union can prove to be a more powerful force against the agency and its unbridled power over the family court arena.
It has also firmly established the need for professionally trained family advocates who are in demand to work with attorneys in assisting families. Many attorneys expressed a desire to hire just such paraprofessionals to alleviate the backlog that occurs in dealing with family law cases and allow them to help defend more families.
"This is just the beginning," said Kay, the Seminar Training Coordinator. "I am excited at how many professionals are contacting me with questions regarding the Institute's unique training." "I can see this taking off now and word getting out to the public." "It is a very rewarding feeling." The Institute has gained its accreditation and is able to offer CLE credit to professionals who attend.
