”The Defense Foundation for children is an interactive site designed especially for families, professionals, organizations and children”, said Denise Marhoefer.  Marhoefer has been involved in investigative journalism for over 10 years and has gained extraordinary insight on a national level in areas pertaining to child abuse, juvenile justice, and what a case needs to be won on behalf of children and families.  “We want to have leading experts in many fields, from every state, available to discuss with families, cases in all areas of juvenile justice and issues surrounding the protection of children.  Many families in crisis are in need of experts who can guide them through this time.  We recognize that it is the children who ultimately pay the price.  There is no other website like this for families”.

The Defense Foundation (DFC) is seeking to secure attorneys, psychologists, medical experts, forensic doctors, investigators, media correspondents, paralegals and researchers, from all states, who wish to be listed on the website for a nominal fee.  DFC is already receiving over 500 emails a day from families seeking help for a variety of legal cases, custody cases, foster care abuse cases and many other crisis situations.   DFC is looking for experts who may have days of their week or blocks of time during their day, who can begin to consult on a general and national level, and whose fees for access are reasonable for their clients.  You can choose to be listed as an online expert or consultant and set your fee for each response returned.  We always welcome those who do pro bono work, but it is not expected. DFC is a very interactive website and experts can discuss cases with clients over the phone, by email or secure instant messaging on the new DFC website.   DFC also offers complete media and marketing services for any business needing to outsource a project.
