URGENT ~ State of INDIANA / State of MAINE CRISIS IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION
NEEDED

What is needed immediately is information to obtain an attorney to deal with an
immediate issue in the Shelbyville area, State of Indiana for a couple and their
9
year old child that was taken into custody this morning by DHS officials in
Indiana.
(Indianapolis Area) whereas the State of Maine CPS is attempting to take the boy
back
to Maine for no apparent reason other than "they can".

The couple: Dale Newcome and Kelly Brown with their 9 year old son, Cody. Dale
is the
Dad/Stepfather to Cody.

ANY immediate information for an attorney should be directed to Dale and Kelly

Their story, is short follows:

The State of MAINE CPS has had the boy, Cody Brown in their "clutches", doping
this
young man up, forcing him to go to a "Special Needs" school in the State of
Maine
over a period of time.

The Mother, Kelly Brown and boyfriend/Dad, Dale Newcome, have been together
fighting
the State of Maine on this issue for over two years.

Kelly and Dale have both decried in great detail that there is no special need
of
Cody whatsoever and chose to remove the boy from the narcotics being forced upon
their son by DHS and leave the State of Maine with Cody as they were in dire
need of
an immediate change of circumstances to improve their quality of life and for
the
safety of Cody Brown (9).

Kelly, Cody and Dale, while in Maine were having to pay upwards of $900/Month
for
substandard housing while bantering with the issues of Maine's CPS and the
drugging
of Cody. Driving this family into the poorhouse.

Advocates Diane Owens of Maine and Gergory Romeo, Tulsa, Oklahoma have been
discussing the issues at hand and performed a detailed study and review of these
people's situation and found no reason whatsoever as to why they should or had
to
remain in the state of Maine and confirmed under what actually IS occurring that
if
they decideded to remove their son from State "Special Needs" schooling and
remove
Cody from the drugs being administered to the boy, that in all reality, for not
only
the boys concerns but for the wellfare and well-being of the family as a whole,
that
the to Shelbyville, Indiana in late June of this year to create a better life
for all
in concern would NOT be a proble.

Kelly, Cody and Dale were able to locate suitable housing in Shelbyville, where
young
Cody, now off of the narcotics, have accomplished giving this boy a wonderful,
caring
and loving enviornment in which Cody explained to me via telephone on Thursday,
July
8th, 2004 that he has gained friendships with many children of his own age, that
he
was the happiest that he has ever been as long as he can remember and was glad
that
he wasn't taking his medication any more and that being away from CPS control he
was
starting to feel good about himself and was able to now enjoy a good time with
his
Mother and Dad and was extremely excited about his new life.

This, coming from a 9 year old boy amazed me; Cody stated to me that he lived in
constant fear of the CPS or even hearing the name of DHS or the "workers", (case
workers), that he was forced to see everyday and that he only started "getting
scared
whenever anyone mentioned CPS or having to take his medicine". He also made
statements to the fact that he was "feeling much, much better" and that he
"LOVES
being with his Dad, Dale and Mom, in their new place with all my new friends",
that
he "loves his Mom and Dad very much" and that he has "never had it any better".

Now then: When Dale and Kelly decided to leave the State of Maine to start a new
and
uninterupted life for their family, being that there were no criminal
proceedings
pending on anyone involved in these matters and only civil issues with the State
of
Maine's CPS, they decided to move to Shelbyville, IN whereas Dale reports that
for
once in a great length of time that he and his family were actually enjoying a
good
quality lifestyle and that they actually had money left over from their income,
something that they had not enjoyed in a very long time, that their boy, Cody
was
always excited about his new enviornment and was gaining friends daily and
having the
"time of his life". As well, Dale and Kelly both stated to me that the only time
that
Cody would become irritated was when the DHS or like-type agency or
social-workers,
school was mentioned as this was haunting the boy.


With the assistance of the Seminole County Sherrif's Department, CPS from
Indiana
went to the apartment of Dale Newcome & Kelly Brown, (Kelly, the mother of Cody
Brown),located at: Rasner Apartments, 1835 E Michigan Rd,#40, Shelbyville, IN ~
317-392-2585, Extension 40 and removed Cody Brown from their care by means of a
judge
in the State of Maine.

Currently Dale and Kelly are attempting to locate an attorney to file immediate
action in Indiana TODAY.

Here is some of what you can all help with:

1) If you know of a good attorney in the Indianapolis/Shelbyville, Indiana area,
by
all means, send that information to me ASAP! There will need to be likewise
intervention for the State of Main as well.

2) I will be working up demand notices to place on the officials in Indiana as
well
as the State of Maine.

3) ANY groups in or around the Indianapolis area that can get in immediate
contact
with Dale and Kelly, (317) 392-2582, Ext 40. Would be a monumental aid at this
time
to let them know that there actually IS a network of individuals and groups out
there, ready to take a stand in their behalf.

4) If you would provide in reply to this letter, a list of OTHER groups in
Indiana,
Indianapolis area and Maine that is NOT listed here so that we can catalog them
and
see if we cannot get them active on this as well. All groups that are active
involved
in combatting these types of atrocites is what we are looking for.

5) ANY current actions pending in Indiana or Maine, legislative, personal cases
of
this same type, etc.

By all means, please reply to ALL so that we can keep everyone on the same page
in
this matter and to avoid a lot of network "chatter" and useless dialog.
