This group educates regarding the special problems that parents have when they are accused of parental neglect or abuse.
Our 1st goal is to give a quick orientation to parents caught up in these proceedings. Our 2nd goal is to cause reform. In child protective proceedings the innocent may be accused. The not so innocent sometimes do not deserve to have their children taken. The children often are being protected from parents that would not harm them again. Their lives are made horribly painful by separation from siblings and parents.
This group is moderated by Terry Bankert. The moderators postings are based upon the assumption that the best way for respondent parents to save their families is to know their rights, their childrens rights and the power of the state. This can be learned by reading case law, statutes,CPS manuels and talking with other parents caught up in child protective proceedings (CPS).

Please consider joining a pro-parent group, and become active. The child protection and child custody-parenting time system is in need of reform.
We want children protected. But we want families treated fairly.
