Re: [chicago alanon] son who drinks

I cannot say that I know what it is like when it your son out there but I had my
husband out on the street around 2 years ago during the winter and boy did I
worry. Somebody at my F2F meeting said to me that my ex was OK because he had
his HP looking after him. She also said that I couldn't do anything about this
except to have him came back and live with me. I didn't want that because all
it did was hurt me and our son so I had to let it go. I know it is not easy to
let him go I have learnt that prays are answered. The A has to go through
things that we have no control over. Take care of yourself so that when your
son is ready for help you are there for him. He will came back to you when he
is ready for help because he know you care.

It has been 2 weeks. I haven't heard from him. I am really worried
about him. I don't know how to deal with the unknown of where he is
and how he is.
