I'm brand new to this website as well as Al-Anon in general. I do
have a few questions about this site.
Do you hold regular meetings on line? When? Do I need anything
special, like a webcam or an invite, to attend this meeting?
Anything you can tell me about this group and how it is conducted,
will be greatly appreciated.

About me, I work for an airline, and travel a great deal, making it
impossible to attend regular group meetings. My wife is currently in
detox, again, and should be released to a 30 day program/sober house
this weekend.

I was reading through some of your posts and they read just like my
life. I'm sure we all go through very similar steps/series of events
as watch our loved ones destroy everything we have spent a lifetime
trying to build. Now that Family and Friends have been estranged, I
need to help my children, as well as myself, come to understand this
monster that has been let out of the bottle. Maybe, help my wife
recover. We have been living and fighting this for only a couple of
years, just a drop in the bucket compared to some of your letters.

Just to let you know, I'm not as gloomy as my screen name and e-mail
implies. It's not my life that's a deadend, just my job.
