The continuance of our addiction stems from one single belief:
We believe we cannot control our own mind.
For, if we could control our mind and the resulting desire to use
We would simply be addicted no longer

We must understand what we truly are. We are not our minds. This is the
basis of all systems of enlightenment. We are Spirit. Our Higher Power,
regardless of the name we assign it, is nothing more than the Voice of
the Spirit we hold within.

Learn to listen to this Voice only and all the rest will simply fall
away. This is the goal of all systems, all religions and all methods
for attaining enlightenment.

We should be proud of what we are and what we do, both collectively and
individually. For, unlike those less fortunate than ourselves, we
ACTIVELY CHOOSE to seek this within ourselves.
