This group is created as a forum for chemically injured people and their supporters, caregivers, physicians to discuss the impacts of chemical injury. At times this is a high volume list, with ongoing open forum chat among members. If you are looking for a low volume, moderated list, the Chemical Injury list may not be appropriate for your needs.
The story behind the photo: Former Alberton, Montana resident Jabe Jackson sculpted neo-toxicosis or “chlorina” during the summer of 1996 after the Montana Rail Link train derailment and chemical spill. The sculpture is constructed of chrome bumpers and scrap metal from the local salvage yard, and captures the intensity of fleeing a toxic plume.
