A therapist friend of mine has allowed me to share with you this
moving account of her own meeting with Mother Meera...

Around 12 years ago I was drawn inexorably towards Germany to be in
the presence an Avatar whose face I had seen vividly and briefly on
Channel Four on evening. Mother Meera then lived in a small village
near to Lahnstein, and European residents could visit for 2
consecutive evenings to receive the Divine Blessing of Her darshan.

With trepidation I sat on the hard seat in the converted barn at the
side of her house, along with about 40 other people from many corners
of the globe. Precise instructions were given, with the usual
efficiency one expects in Germany, and we sat in silent expectation
for what seemed like an age.

Suddenly I felt my heart being drawn open - almost prised apart, it
seemed. Gasping in amazement, I heard a muffled sob from behind me
(as a first time visitor I had the privilege of sitting at the front)
as we prepared to receive the darshan. It was another ten minutes
before a tiny woman in a green and blue sari entered quietly and took
her seat on the dais. Beauty shone from her face and Love radiated
from her heart, as one by one we went forward to kneel in front of
her, felt her cool hands touch our heads, clearing channels in the
spine. Then it was time to sit back and look into Her eyes. An
infinity of Love entered my being, and the depths of her gaze
searched my soul. I searched desperately for the question I wanted to
ask, but couldn't quite find it - and yet the answer "Yes" echoed
through my head. Shaking, I made my way back to my seat, so that
others could have their turn.

It was the first time I had been in the presence of a God-Realised
Being, and I was changed forever. I strongly recommend that you give
yourself this experience, too, if it calls to you.
