Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome to the group. My name's Fateh. I don't often make time to reply to
messages on the board but felt inspired to do so today. It was the excitement
and enthusiasm of things moving. It's wonderful when something explodes off in
a new and fulfilling direction. That's the amazing thing about taking the first
step is that when we open ourselves up the Universe responds. Can't remember
what the saying is, but it's something like every time you take a step towards
God, He (she or it :-) takes ten steps towards you. Of course calling it the
'first' step is a little arbitrary, because actually where is our first step?
It's that quality of 'new' and 'unknown' and sometimes even of being
'vulnerable' (which may be the flip side of open - will something happen, will
it not?). Actually it's more than that. It's establishing that connection (or
strengthening/re-igniting) with something beyond, bigger and unknown.
