for a deeper experience of centering, balancing, relaxation and

Shamanic Healing is the world's oldest and most powerful system of
healing, by which our Unconscious (spirutal) and Conscious minds,
relationships and behaviours are brought into alignment, balance and
harmony. It is a system for living and healing under divine
guidance, grounded in the natural world.
Shamanic Healing is a Non-prescriptive system of healing in which
everyone's personal path and individuality is respected. Shamanic
Healing is also the worlds most adaptable system of
healing - over the millennia, and in different cultures and
religion's, it has undergone many evolutions and adaptations. The
Prophets, saints and sages of all the world's great religions were
all Shamans of differing hues. Can the ancient techniques of

Fri 29 Sept: The Tree of Enlightenment - The Buddha's Feeling for
the Natural World

FREE Talk by Buddhist teacher, Ratnaprabha, 7:45 for 8pm. Organised
by The Cambridge Inter-Faith Group(www.cam.net.uk/home/interfaith).
The Buddha was born, enlightened, and died in the open air, and he
seemed to much prefer a natural environment to the growing cities of
his day. This look at his life will also explore his connection with
nature, especially the trees associated with important events in his
life, and their significance. A talk, followed by questions and
discussion. Ratnaprabha is an English-born Buddhist who was
ordained into the Western Buddhist Order in 1982 after some years of
training. He was educated as a scientist, but left his teaching post
at the Open University to study, practise, and teach Buddhism. He
was the chairman of the Cambridge Buddhist Centre from 1990 to 1996.
His publications include a book on Buddhist and scientific views of
the evolution of human consciousness. At present, he works for a
fair trade Buddhist company in Cambridge. Everyone is welcome. Free
