Re: Affirmations and Visualisations - How to Make them Work!

Hi Flick!

The film is innovative in many ways, including the way it is
marketed - it is the first major film to be primarily marketed
as "pay per view" via the internet - capitalising on the increasing
availabiity of broadband, which is needed to cope with the vast
digital stream a full-screen movie involves.

I actually imported a DVD from Australia and I'm glad I did because
there is so much in the movie - and key practical points slip by
very fast - that it takes a few viewings to take it all in. Part of
this is because, in additon to what they are saying, the characters
in it are fascinating people and also potent models of "success"
paradigms.

Some of the gurus I have followed with interest for a while - Jack
Canfield, for example, I have been studying his super audiotape
programs on many aspects of personal development and relationships
for almost 2 decades! I find it very helpful as well as fascinating
to see these experts live rather than just printed words or a
recorded voice. They are pretty good at the art of "congruency" and
their palpable enthusiasm is great to experience! - if occasionally
a little over-egged i.e. "You can create absolutely anything you
want!" - I think this may be getting a little carried away with the
co-creative technology!

I'm also not yet convinced that there is no "blackboard in the sky"
i.e. life purposes and directions that are pre-ordained. Those of us
who have had significant predictive dreams and visions or NDEs (Near
Death Experiences) can never again regard the future as a totally
open book!

If you can't wait for for the DVD to arrive and don't want to keep
paying for online views, or don't have broadband, then we will be
showing and discussing significant clips tonight - we can't show the
whole movie unfortunately because that would constitute a public
showing.

Details of availability of online viewing and the DVD can be found
