St. Edwards church was a key centre in the 16th Century reformation of
Christianity in England, whereby services became available in English rather
than incomprehensible (to most people) Latin, and whereby the Church of England
broke away from domination and control by the Pope.
Today, St. Edwards is again one of the centres at the heart of an evolution of
Christianity into a form more accessible, comprehensible and relevant to our
21st century society.
St. Edwards is located adjacent to the Marketplace in Cambridge,
opposite the Arts Theatre and Indigo coffee bar.
