As we, in the Northern hemisphere, enter the dark and cold days of
mid-winter, and health problems soar to a peak, it may be a good
time to remind ourselves of The Eight Laws of Natural Health,
sometimes called God's 8 Laws of Health.
1. Air (breath)
2. Sunlight
3. Diet
4. Water
5. Exercise
6. Rest
7. Temperance
8. Trust in God (or other divine spiritual path)
A good "potted" account of these 8 laws of healthy lifestyle can be
found here:

I have been involved in some recent discussion of these basic health
principles, including how well they relate to animals as well as
people. Out of this has come...
The 9th Law of Health
---------------------
I feel that in this "information and communication age" of the 21st century, we
need to add a 9th Law, which would be "Stress Management" ("healing" - one of
our CHEAL group foci - is of course one of the tools of stress management).
Over the past 7 years I have assembled a now fairly vast array of tips,
articles, cartoons, poems, inspiration and resources on managing the various
aspects of "stress" on this website: http://www.stress-counselling.co.uk which I
hope you will find helpful at this time of New Year which many people find
particularly stressful.
Best wishes to all CHEAL members (and our many passing visitors) for
good health, happiness and fulfilment in 2006!
Mike
