The April 2005 report of the UK's surveillance scheme for drug and
toxin residues in animal products reports a continuing trend towards
safer meat, eggs and milk products, with only 2 significant residues
found in home-grown animal-derived foods sampled under the statutory
surveillance scheme in the period January 1st to 9 March 2005.
The remaining areas of concern are in imported animal products:
Imported Honey and Warm-water Prawns
------------------------------------
Drug residues continue to be found in imported honey and imported warm
water prawns as mentioned in earlier report:
