In the UK alone, eight million children are either stillborn or die
each year within the first month of life.

Medical Journal "The Lancet" has launched a new series of articles
about this problem. The Lancet believes that this is their most
important public health campaign for a generation. For this
reason they are making a special 56 page issue available free online

Unfortunately they have chosen to present this special issue using a
very sophisticated implementation of Macromedia Flash. Most people
have M.Flash available as an extension to their web-browsing
software, if not you can download the free software at
